- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪VERY BAD experience. The Doctor who saw me was extremely rude and condescending and told me I needed surgery the very first time I went in for toe pain I have had for 8 months. He prescribed me anti inflammatory medicine even after he told me that they do nothing, and prescribed me and orthotics and wanted to see me in 3 weeks to talk about surgery. I went my chiropractor the very next day to look at my foot and it was just not aligned! My chiropractor said it would hurt when he adjusted it, which it did, but within 2 minutes after the adjustment my pain was gone!! I told the nurse at Iowa Foot and Ankle that I will not be coming back for my follow up appointment because the Dr. was extremely rude to me. My daughter was with me for the appointment and could not believe how he was talking to me and recorded him. She went to go confront him before we left, but he was in another appointment. I would not recommend this place at all. I have never been treated like that by a doctor. The main concern is the misdiagnosis and pushing surgery right away! He could have destroyed my entire lively hood as I use my feet for my profession and I am very young.July 22, 2017by John and Tara Allen
